Churchill Fellowship

I am incredibly proud and deeply grateful to share that I’ve been awarded a Churchill Fellowship for 2026!

Anyone who knows me knows how much I love our rural and farming community, but we've got a massive, quiet health crisis on our hands. When you're working flat out, taking half a day off to sit in a doctor's waiting room just doesn't happen, and let's be honest, the typical culture out here is to just put your head down and ignore a health problem until you literally can't walk let alone work.

This fellowship means I get to travel to Australia, New Zealand, and Norway to see how they manage to take real, judgment-free healthcare straight to farmers and rural areas. I want to see if I can bring some of those ideas back to the UK so we can make checking on our own health feel as normal as maintaining a tractor.
